Well, quite a pretty big secret actually. We've only gone and won New Start-Up of the Year and Solopreneur of the Year at the Great British Business & Community Awards! ![New Startup of The Year and Solopreneur of the Year Award logos.](https://goodyolk.co.uk/hubfs/great-british-business-community-awards-3.webp "New Startup of The Year and Solopreneur of the Year Award logos.") ## We’re egg-ceptional Back in August, we found out we’d been nominated for the [Great British Business & Community Awards](http://www.greatbritishbusinessawards.co.uk/) that celebrate the outstanding achievements, resilience, innovation, and creativity of the UK's business and community sectors. And after a record-breaking 2,770 nominations for entrepreneurs, businesses, charities, and community leaders who are making a positive and original impact on their industries, the economy, and society as a whole, and an independent judging process, we won! We took home the bronze New Start-Up of the Year Award. ## Bringing home the bacon (and eggs) And if you thought it couldn’t get any better, well it does! Our egg-cellent Director and Co-Founder, [Leighton Osbourne](https://goodyolk.co.uk/about), secured a further bronze win as Solopreneur of the Year. And this is what he had to say: "If somebody had said this time last year I'd be running Good Yolk, my own award-winning SEO agency, I'd have laughed. But, picking up bronze at the Great British Business & Community Awards was such a humbling experience and I still can't wrap my head around it. I'm genuinely speechless which for me is rare! Beyond grateful for the nomination and all the support I've had along the way. Thank you from the bottom of my eggy heart! 🧡" ![Director and Founder of Good Yolk, Leighton Osbourne, holding the Solopreneur of The Year and the New Start-up of The Year awards.](https://goodyolk.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/leighton-osbourne-solopreneur-year-award.webp?width=800&height=450&name=leighton-osbourne-solopreneur-year-award.webp) *Director and Founder, Leighton Osbourne, collecting the bronze awards.* ## Let’s get cracking!
